Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February 1964. She is an American actress who is known for her talent in portraying strong characters who are also at risk. Linney was born into the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney writing plays. In 1986, she received her degree from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. at New York City in 1990. The year 1990 was the year she started the beginning of her Broadway career. The audience praised her for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
